ALAC Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of the Abundant Life Apostolic Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. Our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17). There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. He is God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).
God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and, therefore, is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Salvation
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions.

The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
